Illusion HP AR, 99.9% light transmission:
Is the same as regular Illusion except it uses an ultra premium hydrophobic topcoat with a greater contact angle and superior durability to extend the life and mechanical performance of the AR and increase the lens cleanablity. After the premium topcoat is applied, a very thin "roughner" is applied to make the lens less slippery thereby assisting in blocking for edging (if uncut) or insertion into frames (if already edged). The "roughner" washes off easily and after wiping the lenses about a dozen times, the maximum contact angle (slipperiness and cleanablity) is restored.
