Mirror Coatings: Maxximus Mirror Information

Available mirror colors: MAXXIMUS GOLD, MAXXIMUS SILVER, MAXXIMUS BLUE

All lenses will be hard coated. The front surface will be mirror coated. The back surface will receive the Illusion Anti-Reflective coating. A premium hydrophobic/oleophobic topcoat will be applied.

  • Lenses must be uncut
  • Lens diameter cannot be larger than 78 mm or smaller than 55 mm
  • Cylinder power over -4.00 cannot be coated
  • No knife edges
  • Minimum center thickness of 1.5 mm
  • Do not put any kind of backside hardcoating on lenses
  • All residue must be cleaned from lenses before sending to Opticote
  • Lenses should be thoroughly cleaned in a ultrasonic cleaner, wiped with alcohol, and air dried
  • Polarized lenses from any manufacturer are acceptable
  • We are able to mirror colored poly
  • We are unable to coat lined bifocals/trifocals/executive
  • We are unable to coat tinted lenses
  • We are unable to do gradient or double gradient coatings
  • We are unable to alter the mirror colors.
